Walleye
Night bite really getting better. Pier fishing the cast 3 nights was very good with a lot of nice fish caught. Best baits were storm swim jig in shad pattern followed by Reef Runner Ripstick and Rapala Husky Jerk in blue silver patterns.
Cranberry Creek to Old Womans Creek. Trolling stickbait behind inline boards in water depth of 6 to 9 feet. Jig N Minnows are still very productive.
Perch
Awesome perch fishing this week in all areas with big fish being caught NW of red channel buoy 29 feet of water. NE of green channel buoy 29 feet of water. North of water tower on East side of River.
Limits are coming in and fish cleaning is available at Huron Bait on the river.
White bass and catfish are good to very good off pier.
Bait availability is excellent. This week should continue to produce good fishing.

Spring fishing is underway and excellent weather has helped to warm our waters quickly!
Good perch fishing this week with good size and numbers being reported.
Locations to consider are
HURON LIGHTHOUSE PIER TO THE WEST WALL
NICKEL PLATE BEACH PIER
NORTHEAST AND NORTHWEST OF CHANNEL MARKER BUOYS IN 26 TO 35 FOW.
Big perch and lots of them,are scatterd througout the area. Good fishing should continue
for the rest of the week. Cooler temps are predicted for the weekend,so check the updated marine forecast before traveling.
Whitebass should begin staging at the mouth of the river,which will provide a good opportunity to take a kid fishing!!
